I’ve had a few friends ask me about the best places to stay near Kai Tak Stadium.
To help more people out, here’s my list of hotels.
FYI, I am a Hong Kong local and a transport professional. I know the area super well.
There’s definitely something for everyone.

CLOSEST TO STADIUM

Location: This is literally next to Kai Tak stadium.
Type: It’s a 5 star hotel and it’s very new. Kai Tak Mall has plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, and shops.
HARBOUR VIEW + 10 MINS AWAY BY METRO
Harbour Plaza Metropolis 🔍 check out prices and availability now
Location: It’s in Hung Hom, only 10 mins by metro to Kai Tak Stadium. I recommend it if you’re checking out other parts of Hong Kong.
Type: There are a lot of hotels with harbour views. But this is my personal favourite at a reasonable budget. Even the pool faces the harbour. I stayed here for a month!
NEAREST MID-RANGE HOTEL
Harbour Plaza 8 Degrees 🔍 check out prices and availability now
Location: This is the 2nd nearest hotel to Kai Tak stadium. A 10 minute walk.
Type: A great mid-range option within walking distance. Lots of local cafes, restaurants, supermarkets. Neighbourhood feel.
