I’m YenKid

I am delighted you found me.

This is a personal travel guide focused on the things I consider most useful for tourists to China.

A somewhat universal guide to travelling China.

I’m Chinese, but I was raised in England. Due to my background, I’m able to see things both from the Chinese perspective and the “rest of the world” perspective. That means I’m extremely familiar with the problems that foreign tourists commonly face.

I’m a native English speaker, and this website is written in my own words.

Mission

My motivation for this website began with a purpose to provide information for family and friends. When I first moved to China permanently, I was quite lost for how to do day-to-day things and I didn’t really know where to find out. Over time, I gathered a trove of information that I felt would improve the experience for a newbie to China.

If you find my website useful and want to buy me a virtual coffee, you can do so here. A thousand thanks in advance.
